‘Coming Home’ is Wade’s first solo show and response since returning to Cornwall following several years living in the Rocky Mountains of America.

Wade is a British abstract artist whose work emphasises clarity and simplicity with a reduced colour palette. Her new work is influenced by the land, sculpture and post-minimalism. Wade does not produce scenes; her paintings are intimate and the relationship with each painting is intense. They are in the land. They feel the land. Often they are part of the landscape themselves.

Wade grew up in Cornwall, studied at Falmouth School of Art, Dartington College of Art, and art history at Oxford Polytechnic. Her paintings can be found in art collections in the UK, USA and Europe
