Emma Jeffryes

After graduating (with an MA) from the Royal College of Art in 1994, Emma first worked as a freelance fashion textiles designer selling her designs on the US and Japanese markets. She also created, with equal success a range of furnishing fabric designs for UK, USA and major european countries. Since moving to cornwall in 1996 Emma has concentrated full time on her painting. The majority of her work is started and finished Ôon siteÕ, the paintings are vigorously executed with a spirit and vitality that is ideally suited to her preferred medium of acrylic. Her inspiration comes from the sea, the boats and the coast around her adopted cornwall.
