Zoe Cameron Zoe Cameron moved to Cornwall in 1986, and currently teaches at Falmouth College of Arts and Cornwall College. She has exhibited her work widely throughout the West Country and in London. Her paintings are concerned primarily with the depiction of the human figure within a context, sometimes a place she has visited, or an occasion that seemed significant. " I explore the experiences and try to create the essence of what I saw and felt, I attempt to describe isolated moments, and express a recognition of the human condition in its may forms." Animals and birds feature strongly in much of her work, and it is the affectionate relationship between human and animal and the bonds that can be forged between them that particularly interest: Zoe´s paintings are colorful yet serene, and her painted figures possess a smiling warmth and a gentleness of spirit very much like her own.
