Figurative Art, sometimes written as figurativism, describes artwork that is clearly derived from real object sources and so is, by definition, representational.

Abstract Art uses visual language of shape, form, colour and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world.

Printmaking, Let’s start with Linocuts, also known as lino print, lino printing or linoleum art, is a printmaking technique, a variant of woodcut in which a sheet of linoleum is used for a relief surface. Whereas lithography ( litho ) is a method of printing originally based on the immiscibility of oil and water. The printing is from a stone or a metal/copper plate with a smooth surface. Then there is Monoprinting, it’s a single impression of an image made from a reprintable block, rather than printing multiple or editioned copies of a single image, only one impression is produced.
