Artist and writer, Neil Plotkin received his B.A. in Art History and his B.F.A. from the University of Michigan in 1992 with later studies at the New York Academy of Art. He has had solo shows of his paintings both nationally and internationally. His essays and interviews have appeared in many forums including artists’ catalogs, the Huffington Post, Painters Table, Painting Perceptions. Mr. Plotkin has been a staff writer for Painting Perceptions since 2010. He currently lives, paints and writes with his wife and two young sons in Brooklyn, New York.
