“Through observation and discovery I seek to uncover truths that are often hidden in the world around me. My relationships, past and present, and history are sifted through in order to find truths both personal and universal. My goal in painting is to invite the viewer to engage in an honest conversation.”

Erin Raedeke is an observational painter living in a Maryland suburb of Washington DC. She received her Master of Fine Arts at American University and has been painting and exhibiting nationally and internationally for almost 20 years.

In 2006 her work was included in the BP Portrait Award Exhibition at the National Gallery in London. Raedeke’s work is in collections across the United States and abroad.
